Understanding that despair has no borders, we organize, collaborate with, and mobilize our volunteers and donations to bring positive change and relief wherever it is needed. CYBERTANK
The Tank is a nonprofit arts presenter and producer serving 2500 artists in 1,000 performances annually. Our mission is to remove the economic barriers from the creation of new work by emerging artists. On March 17th, The Tank implemented a virtual and online programming hub to help our community of artists communicate and feel supported at this difficult time. What began as a weekly variety show CyberTank, is a space for remote, multidisciplinary arts gatherings publicly shared online. We are currently streaming 10 - 12 live productions or digital downloads per week. The Tank has received press in various outlets for our CyberTank efforts. “More than any other venue, programming at The Tank has eased into this moment without too much struggle,” wrote EXEUNT Magazine, “Smart online theater which utilizes our moment is not just a driver for exciting work, but could help us feel together like nothing else. For the month of June, The Tank will be raising funds on behalf of Fair Fight. Fair Fight's mission is to "promote fair elections in Georgia and around the country, encourage voter participation in elections, and educate voters about elections and their voting rights. Fair Fight brings awareness to the public on election reform, advocates for election reform at all levels, and engages in other voter education programs and communications."
